  • We will never lock you into a contract. While Dr. Krantz takes the time to create individualized treatment plans tailored to your unique needs—and we strongly encourage following these plans for the best and longest-lasting results—you are never obligated or locked in. We operate on a pay-per-visit basis, with the option of purchasing package plans if you’d like to save money while staying consistent with your care.

Treatment Approach

  • We begin with a detailed consultation and a series of neurological and structural assessments to understand how your body is functioning beneath the surface. Using modern technology and thoughtful testing, we look for imbalances, misalignments, or areas of stress in the nervous system. This helps us identify why your symptoms are happening—not just where they show up—so your care plan is built on accuracy, intention, and long-term results.

  • Both. Every body is different, so we tailor your adjustments to what works best for you. Some patients respond well to hands-on, manual adjustments, while others prefer (or require) gentle, instrument-based techniques. Dr. Krantz chooses the method that supports your comfort, safety, and healing most effectively.

  • We use advanced nervous system scanning technology along with structural evaluations to see how your body is functioning from the inside out. These tools allow us to measure stress patterns, nerve interference, inflammation, and muscle imbalance. The result is clearer answers, more precise care, and measurable progress along the way.

  • In most cases, yes. As long as your consultation and assessments don’t reveal any red flags or the need for additional imaging, we’re able to provide your first adjustment during your initial visit. Our goal is to make sure your care is both safe and effective, so if anything requires a closer look, we’ll discuss it with you before moving forward.

  • Yes. After reviewing the findings from your first visit, Dr. Krantz will walk you through specific exercises designed to support your body’s healing based on your individual needs. When appropriate, he’ll also make lifestyle and nutrition recommendations—and he’s always happy to go deeper if you’d like more guidance. For patients with health questions that extend beyond chiropractic care, Dr. Krantz also offers functional medicine consultations to provide a more comprehensive, root-cause approach to wellness.

General Care & What to Expect

  • Chiropractic care can help with a wide range of issues, including but not limited to neck pain, back pain, headaches, sciatica, joint discomfort, posture problems, and nerve-related symptoms. Dr. Krantz is specially trained in extremities if you’re having shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, or ankle pain. At Ascend Chiropractic, we also support infants experiencing colic, reflux, or latching challenges, as well as children of all ages dealing with ear infections and constipation. Because we focus on the nervous system, we look at how well your body is communicating and functioning—not just where it hurts—so you can heal and thrive from the inside out.

  • Instead of only treating symptoms, we look at how your nervous system is functioning as a whole. When your brain and body communicate clearly, everything works better—from movement to digestion to sleep. Our approach aims to identify the root cause of dysfunction so your body can heal naturally and fully.

  • Your first visit starts with a warm welcome, then Dr. Krantz will carefully review your health history, conduct a thorough examination, and perform a neurological scan to assess your overall health and well-being. This visit is all about gathering information so we can create a care plan designed specifically for you. Throughout the process, Dr. Krantz will ensure that you feel informed and empowered with your personal health information. If you have any questions at any point during the exam, please don't hesitate to ask. Your understanding and comfort are our top priorities as we work together towards optimizing your health.

  • A typical appointment takes anywhere from 5-15 minutes depending on your body’s needs. Dr. Krantz may go beyond just an adjustment, including muscle work, massage gun, or taping if they are applicable to your wellness journey.

A first patient visit does take a little longer as they also include reviewing your health history, conducting a thorough examination, and performing a neurological scan, so please plan for about an hour of your time.

  • Your care frequency depends on your goals, your unique situation, and how your body responds. After reviewing your scans and exam findings, Dr. Krantz will map out a plan designed to help you get results efficiently and safely. An acute issue typically takes more consistent, frequent care whereas general maintenance can be spread out a bit more.
